Back home!

C'est bizarre de revenir de Grande Bretagne et de retourner à la maison en Italie!

Coming back from GB and going back home to Italy is a bit weird (we've been living here for only a month)!

Nous avons passé 3 jours fantastiques à Londres pour terminer notre périple et nous sommes tous d'accord sur le fait qu'il faut y passer plus de temps. Nous avons visité et vu les incontournables: the Tower of London, London Bridge, the Houses of Parliament avec Big Ben qui a produit un joli carillon au moment où nous y étions, la relève de la garde à Buckingham Palace (s'il y a un point à écourter où supprimer, à mon avis c'est celui-ci), Trafalgar Square, the Mall, London Eye (juste vu car c'est hors de prix et en plus je me vois mal dans ces "oeufs" en hauteur) Oxford Street (bondée) et toutes ses boutiques, Regent Street (bondée) et ses jolies façades, Carnaby Street (bondée) et son atmosphère, Covent Garden, les puces de Camden, les bords de la Tamise et Le Science Museum. Ce dernier est un must see mais il faut y passer au moins la journée, voire venir à plusieurs reprises pour le visiter (il est gratuit). J'ai trouvé la section arts ménagers charmante.

We've just spent 3 wonderful days in London and we all agree... 3 days are too short for such a fantastic city! We visited or saw the main attractions (see above) and if there's one to suppress it's the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace (boring and not interesting, synonyms, I know). We really enjoyed the Science Museum, I particularly liked the kitchen section.
